I came out to my mom (finally), and woah! She took it really well. Actually, I made her guess, and after guessing that I was (a) pregnant and (b) lesbian, she guessed that I was transgender!!
It was really weird. She didn't ask if I was sure, didn't ask if I was crazy, or why. She smiled and said that she figured and that it was okay, and she loves me and just wants me to be happy. Then, she asked what it's like, how it feels, and what my sexuality is.
I'm really happy. I'm still shaking. Ahh.
I'll talk to her later about names and stuff later, but right now, I'm shaking and just happy she didn't yell. Ahh.
CONGRATULATIONS!
The best response any of us can hope for :)
Congrats.
Great news! Congratulations! ;D
Thank you everyone :) I'm feeling pretty great right now. I'll talk to her about T and a name change later. I'm just really happy that she's trying to understand, that she didn't yell, or try to convince me I'm wrong.
you have a great Mom, congratulations.
Congrats once again!
I would say I was a bit amused by the order of guesses by your mom, even though I know each of these situations may not be amusing at all for those who go through them.
All the best for your next steps!
That's great news. Well done!

It was a bit amusing, considering what I was actually trying to tell her. :)
Thank you everyone :)
That's absolutely brilliant, congrats :D
