Title: Need help from Aussie girls.
Post by: Summer on January 20, 2015, 04:09:58 AM
Hi girls I have a issue and I'm hoping I can get some advice from the Aussie girls who use E implants.
So my endo tells me yep we do implants in oz so hearing that I was a happy girl  until I went to my gp to get a prescription for it and he looks in his computer to find implants and to my surprise he tells me " mmm there doesn't seem to be implants anymore"
On the inside I am furious seems to be a common problem in Australia no one knows what there doing and if they don't know they make BS up as they go.
So if there's any oz girls using implants can you reply hear or pm me with names and brand etc xoxoxo

Summer if you don't mind me asking, who are you seeing sweetie?

The reality is your better of seeing a GP with a mountain of experience with Transgender patients than an Endo with absolutely none. If you want I could give you the name if my doctor, she essentially services 60% of the transgender people in South East Qld so I'd bet she could help. :)

Also Implants are definitely a thing :)

Well they definitely are a thing. Got one in my upper left butt right now and another due in three months. Since my endo implants them and I don't have to buy them I am unaware of any particular brand names. Sorry.

sorry to Necro your old thread Sum, but holy crap qld doc's without trans experience are f#$#$#$$$(%** &#$&&(*#$&__A#*_$*&!!

i have never been met with a group of uninterested medical professionals in all my life. not only did they prescribe outdated BS meds but they were so rude!!!

so ive been detransitioned/under a rock/trying to man up for the last few months cos basically ive been stonewalled into submission. noone deserves to be treated with such apathy and disinterest, ESPECIALLY someone who is trans!!

anyway, thanks Summer for texting me the name of your new doc. hopefully she will help and now i know about implants i will hopefully hav a chat about that too xx

(rant over, again sorry for the necro)

BTW, pretty sure my endo orders them in from the US. He always has a stash that he uses for his patients.

My endo has them produced by a compounding chemist. I think that is what a number of them do.

You might look up compounding pharmacies.
There are a few in the us and they ship worldwide.

There are estrogen, bioidentical progesterone and even very low doses of testosterone .

Yes, that makes sense.
