I'm only sorry this clip is so short. Aleshia Brevard is a fascinating person who transitioned back when almost no one else had. What a tough cookie. I've heard other interviews with her that were a bit more substantial than this one, but she's such an interesting (trans)woman: female impersonator, starlet/actress, writer, theater director. We should all be this great when we're 70+ years old.
ciao,
Gina M.
If anyone is looking for more about Aleshia, she also has written a fascinating book about her life and transition, "The Woman I Was Not Born to Be".
Wow, she did it herself. What a brave soul! :) She was so feminine-looking even as a child. The only thing I didn't like was the narrator calling her a he. Yeah, I know she was referring to Alishia's life prior to transition, but still, I think she should have used she instead of he. Great video overall, thanks for posting it, Gina.
tink :icon_chick:
She performed castration on herself?....well damn.
