Title: Being bisexual
Post by: mittenD2014 on January 22, 2015, 08:58:23 AM
I may be new at coming out of the closet if you will but it has help me in so many ways to see who I'm supposed to be. I have been attractive to both male's and female's since I was about 15. I really didn't come out of the closet until last year to this year with friends. Some friends knew that I was or had since that i was but I felt like it was time to come clean. The only thing that scares me is to tell my family about who I'm really. I just need some help in that department.

Congrats on taking those steps to coming out :) some people do it all at once, for others it's a journey. Well, what's your family like? Do you think you know how they'll react?

Welcome to Susan's Place young mittened one;-)

While many transgender people also have a bisexual orientation I hope you recognize that our gender identity is not strictly related to our sexual orientation.  Many trans people are straight, gay, lesbian and other.  We do share a sad distinction of sometimes feeling like we are at the back of the LGBTQ bus.

I sometimes have thought we are all potentially Bi given the right opportunity.  Good luck exploring
