I finally had the first appointment with my Gender Therapist, I and I can say WE CLICKED! She is kind of hyper and so am I when I am talking about my GD and being the very first time I have spoken to any kind of therapist I was glad to openly discuss all of my issues and answer all of the questions that she had without any reservations, all of this while my heart was racing.
We addressed mostly from first memories to 17 years old and jumped around quite a lot. The hour discussing the issues after filling the paperwork went so quickly that I asked her if we could continue for another hour, out of my pocket, as the insurance does not pay, but unfortunately she had another appointment and could not continue until the following week.
Now one of the many question that she asked me was: When did you first kissed or petted a girl?
My answer was that I was introvert and very shy and lived out of the country for a year during which I did not socialize,and that I kissed and petted my first girlfriend at age 17. I did have girl friends that I would go to parties and the movies and hang together in a group, but the only one that I asked around 15 or so said no, she was very moody. Tried asking other girls a couple of times before her, but could not say the words. There were others girls that I have now realize that they showed interest in me, but did not caused a reaction of my part, which now, thinking about it, should have stirred some emotions.
What where your experiences with petting/kissing during your teens? Am I representative of the transgendered or more of an exception?
I did like girls, but???
