Title: Dr. Mangubat
Post by: lionheart on January 26, 2015, 03:18:29 PM
I've been looking into Dr. Mangubat for top surgery, but the #1 thing that's putting me off is when I search his name, like the 5th link that comes up on Google is about complaints of him, and there seem to be a lot. None of them seem to be related to chest surgery, but it still makes me just a little bit uncomfortable to think about. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here had surgery with him and have any specific complaints? Also, if anyone knows if he performs surgery on patients under 18 that'd be great, I can't seem to find anything on his website.

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who has, but it wouldn't hurt to do a keyword search in the top surgery recovery thread just to see.

As far as complaints/reviews: when you have an experience anywhere that goes as expected or meets your expectations, what do you do? You go on with your life and generally ignore it. One that exceeds your expectations? You might tell a few people, you might post on social media. But have a bad experience? You suddenly get this desire to let the entire world know how this person/situation ruined your life. Don't discount them completely, but think critically about them.

If this is the guy in Oregon or Washington, then I have heard very good things about him. Saw a revision he did, which was tricky to say the least. Not sure I would have bothered with this sort of revision but he did do a great job.
