A couple of my co-workers have waist trainers and I was intrigued and started thinking if that would make my body look more feminine gradually if I did it safely? Wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with them.
Hi hon, there are lots of tight lacing posts, here's something to look at: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,134550.0.html

I am a transitioning girl, but it has worked very effectively for me. It is just a slow process and does not work overnight. Good luck! :)
Thanks so much! :]

Yep wearing now while presenting male in an office environment. I find it comfortable and supportive for my back, and it has helped with weight loss as I feel like eating a fair bit less.
I'm just about to order next size smaller as the first one which was right when I first got it is now fully laced all the time.
I do need to wear slightly large shirts over it though so the outline can't be seen.

Waist training?
I guess it means strengthening belly muscles by exercise. Yes. By tightening up your belly muscle, you can decrease the circumference of your belly. Also, strong muscles will consume more calories even at rest, helping decreasing your weight in the long-term.
The following exercise, repeating 30 times everyday, would be enough for strengthening your belly muscle.

You do not need any machine or instrument.

By the way, Corsetdeal.com has great heavy duty waist trainers for as little as $35.00. They are made like an M1A1 tank and shipping was extremely fast and efficient. They are a good solid company for the price, quality and customer service. I just got a new red one on Thursday! :)
I haven't had any success with corsets. As far as I am concerned, all three of the corsets I have purchased have been or should be assigned to the dust bin. Some, well maybe more than some, of the problem is not spending the funds necessary to buy a good one. Secondly, lacing them for maximum affect isn't a solitary enterprise despite videos to the contrary. Maybe I'm just inept.
Personally I think diet and exercise are the way to go.
