Charlie Anders, a bisexual transgender woman in her 30s who has not undergone convertive surgery, posted an entry, "Chasing Transgender Women Away," on July 21 on her Charliegrrrl blog protesting the club's transgender policy. She posted a follow-up entry on August 13, which encouraged people to contact Amy Larson, CASC founder, to voice their disagreement with the policy.

I must have missed this one before. Also from the land of WTF?
I can understand str8 women excluding non-op or pre-op women from a nudity centered event if they are trying to escape male sexuality for a time. In other words, they want to be somewhere nekid amongst other females where no penises will be seen.
I can understand lesbo's and dykes excluding the same people from the same kind of event but for a different reason. We don't ever want to see a penis. Period.
But Bi-sexual women excluding other women because they perceive they have a penis makes no sense to me at all. None. I do not get it.
This is obviously local to SF. Here in Minneapolis we don't have this issue. Long ago our organization, BOP (the Bisexual Organizing Project), made itself trans-friendly. I am currently working on the BECAUSE (Bisexual Empowerment Conference: A Uniting, Supportive Experience) conference planning committee. http://www.because08.org/
