Title: Breast Forms / prosthesis
Post by: Jessica_S on February 01, 2015, 08:21:13 AM
Planning to shell out for some proper breast forms in the near future.
Has anyone got any brand recommendations, tips or good or bad experiences to share?

Thanks

Jessica

try  thebreastformstore.com (or .ca in canada)

I'm currently wearing a set of the Aphrodite Divine Collection.  Just received my 2nd set actually.  They are about $550 (for XS or S) and prices go up the bigger you get.

I really like them.. with some Hollisters Medical adhesive (available at TBFS) you can wear the smaller sizes without a bra but I typically wear a bra with mine even with the adhesive.  They feel very realistic and bounce/move with you, not sure how they compare to real boobs, but it's a start.

I tried XS for my first set and they were probably the right size for me, but I needed to replace them just a week ago and went with a discounted pair and they only had S... which is still ok, but "my boobs" are definitely bigger visually to me.. not sure what my co-workers notice.. lol

My profile pic is actually the XS Aphrodite forms.

As nice as they are, I still want real boobs ASAP.. haha

I got some silicon ones that drop into a mastectomy bra, they cost about £25 i really like them. I got some hips too made of the same stuff. They go into your tight and give your hips some shape. I have them on all the time.

Back when I still wore them I used Pals made by a company called Super Gel Products http://www.supergelproducts.com (http://www.supergelproducts.com). I found them to be reasonably priced, comfortable and realistic looking when wearing a bra. I wore mine of 4 or 5 years until I started HRT and developing my own.

I posted this in another thread.  I've found a set of prosthesis via google search.  Then a friend reviewed the same forms on her blog: http://youcancallmemeg.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-great-value-ladies.html (http://youcancallmemeg.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-great-value-ladies.html)

They feel like I've added the real thing on my chest, mass wise.  I have yet to use adhesive on them.  but they really fill out my clothes.
