I have a question regarding getting needles (as the title says.) Forgive me if I'm not allowed to ask this question, it is probably a bit of a gray area. My doctor works with paper prescriptions and it is difficult to get a hold of her via phone. Aka I can't just call her and get a renewal, because I'd have to pick up the paper, but I am 6 hours away at college right now. When I filled my prescription when I was home for Christmas break, the pharmacy only had longer needles than what I was prescribed, so they gave me those instead, however, I did end up discovering that I could buy 10 needles in my state without a prescription, so I got 10 of what I was prescribed at another pharmacy. I have just used the last of the shorter needles and to my dismay, I have learned that in the state I am currently in for college, they can't give you a single needle without a prescription. I am not UNABLE to administer my T since I do have the longer needles with me as well, but it is really bad for my anxiety to switch back to the longer ones. Is there perhaps a reliable place online where you can get needles without a prescription refill, or do you guys know of a way I can get my proper needles down here to me?

Look on ebay for needles. I bought 100 1ml syringes and 100 needles the correct size for under 15 bucks. Pm if you cant find a good source and I will give you the company I got mine from. 100%legal.. hope this helps;)
I get mine mail order. Plenty of medical supply places on-line. In NJ you need a scrip for needles, but mail order places seem not to check. The cost is nominal. For the insurance co-pay for 10 needles is the as a box of 100.

A lot of places will also sell you a decent supply of needles if you take in your prescription vial and ID so they know you have a legit reason to be asking for them.

just google "buy syringes". lots of stores, i have tried two stores and no problem has occured.

In theory, this is true, but don't expect the pharmacy to actually cooperate. I was told that in my state, showing my T scrip is all I need to do. I had been given short needles, and going back to the original pharmacy was a pain because of the limited street parking. I knew that at least one of my friends had bought needles with just a T scrip, so I went to a regular pharmacy to do the same. The woman treated me like a three-headed alien.
I said that I had a prescription for my meds but needed longer needles. When I showed her the prescription label, she said, "That's a prescription for medication, not needles." Um, I know...that's what I said. So I replied that I knew that and was under the impression that I could get just the needles as long as I showed my legitimate need for them. She then seemed to change tactics and told me that there was no way for me to get needles without a prescription for needles. I said something back--I can't remember what--and then she said, rather pointedly, that their policy of not selling needles under such circumstances was a measure to avoid facilitating drug addicts.
Why didn't she just say that in the first place? I suppose she might have misunderstood me. But the way she said the bit about addicts and the disapproving way she was looking at me gave me the distinct impression that she thought I was a drug abuser myself or that I was using the needles to supply my lowlife friends or something. She came across as superior and judgmental. Jeez. Sometimes people DO have a legitimate need for more needles, lady.
Not a pleasant experience. If you can legally buy needles online and avoid the human element, I urge you to do so.
