Title: 1 year on hrt
Post by: Katie J on February 03, 2015, 09:52:10 AM
I can now say that I have been on hrt for a full year! It's been an intense year with a lot of ups and downs, but it's all been completely worth it. I am also curious what other people's experience during year 2 has been like.

Congratulations,   I'm thirty months on, and things have settled into normalcy.  I live my life, do my job, do everything I choose to do without much drama and quite unremarkably.  For me the big deal was coming out at work last June, since then it is just another day of growth and delight.  I am much better at many of the things I struggles with the first year.  My voice, makeup, demeanor have all matured and are more natural.

Body hair continues to diminish, body fat continues to move around.  I got another cup size in my second year.  Physically, emotionally, and socially the process has moved for discovery to being and living authentically.  Pretty cool :)

Woo! Congrats!

I'm now into my 20th month and I guess it has just been a smoother ride - everything has settled down, the changes continue but are a lot more subtle from a day to day point of view but are cumulatively very noticeable. I saw my endo last month for the first time in six months and he was amazed and very happy with "developments". Apparently I look even younger now and my backside is very womanly and curvy! lol. I have lost a lot of muscle mass around my neck and shoulders and upper torso and am getting fat deposits in all the right places especially around the hips and butt (a bit more for the boobs please, Ms Boob Fairy). I've been full time for ten months now and generally don't have any problem with presentation etc.

Happy estroversary!

I'm 2 years in now.  I have to say that year 2 was even better than year 1 for overall feminization for me, and the last 6 months (post-orchi) have been amazing for fat redistribution.  My ass could definitely not pass for male anymore.
