This has really been a worrisome week for me.
I ran out of both my estradiol and spironolactone when the month began, and haven't been back on since, until i began back again on Spiro on Thursday. The ONLY reason why i opted against refiling my estradiol is because my endo started me on shots and she is supposed to teach me to inject on Tuesday. That will be the first day of my shots.
Please tell me my breast buds will return and resume growth once i start with my shots. My breast buds faded away more and more and my chest has gotten flatter, to my dismay. I've been off my hrt for about a week.
The bottle of delestrogen is really tiny but costs $60. I got the delestrogen in late January. I got the needles, syringe, and Spiro on Thursday.
What I'm planning to do is take my shots and then switch back to estradiol tablets once the delestrogen runs out because it's too expensive and I'm afraid of needles anyway.
They will return!
When we go for surgery we have to go off E before and after for awhile. There are no long term effects.
Yes, they'll return but I'm surprised they disappeared so quickly.
Thanks. I'm still very worried and can't help feeling that way.
I want my boobies back! I'm wearing my bra full time without stuffing it. I'm hoping when i start my delestrogen on Tuesday, they will resume growth.
My buds are still there but dramatically smaller than months past with some tenderness.
Realize that I'm going the other way, but there have been times when I was ill enough that i didn't change my patch for four or five days. In that amount of time, nothing changed, but that's testosterone. If it were two or three weeks, I'd feel the difference.
I'm sorry that this is happening to you. When you can't rely on your body alone to make the hormones you need to keep your gender's appearance, even a small change can cause emotional dysphoria. Once you start up again, you should get your breasts back. Keep that in your mind and try not to worry. You'll be ok.
