I'm looking for more Global Mods.
I am looking for people who have probably a few thousand posts (at least). A clean record, who are emotionally stable, or at least have understood and are dealing with their issues.
I need a commitment of at least three years and who are to be able to commit to several hours a day on a regular basis.
The work can be brutally hard, very triggering but can also be extremely rewarding.
It is a team environment with strict rules and very high expectation of standards.
The selection process can take several months, all of your posts will be reviewed and an opinion of your suitability discussed privately.
If I decide not to accept you it is no reflection upon you as a person, I am very protective of my staff and I will not allow someone to be put into a place that may harm them.
I have ex-GM's who are still recovering from their experiences.
If I haven't put you off contact me by pm in the first instance.
Bump

Steals a cookie and a taco a runs to the news room ;D
How many people do you have/need?
Just curious . . . I do not meet the minimum requirements, do not want the job, will not be applying, and would decline it if offered.

Members in Europe and the UK are of particular interest.
Several hours a day? Or several hours a week?
Sounds like you've been slacking off, Arch. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthefiringline.com%2Fforums%2Fimages%2Fsmilies%2Fwink.gif&hash=fd49c1687b59c0ea097a7b4f1ed562a996fdaf5c)
Seriously...but this wouldn't be the first time the oldsters let the newbies do all of the work.
As long as they don't get paid more than I do!

A typo!!!!! A week!!
Arch I will triple your wages!!
In that case, I demand a raise to at least double wages.

OK, double your wages - and a new flea collar. Jeez you guys must think I'm made from money!
(Don't tell the girls, they will all want make overs)
Ye, that flea collar will come in handy, when the temp gets above zero.
Contrast. The fleas have woken up in my garage and are alive and well. They do that only in warm weather.
Today, I was sitting at a light and wishing it were just a tad cooler. At that exact moment, KPBS news started reporting on the storms on the East Coast.
It was clearly a sign: Arch, quitcher bitchin'.
So when do new mods get issued the whips and chains and branding irons? Is there a secret candlelight initiation ceremony that we don't know about?

Its more trial by fire. :eusa_think: :icon_suspicious:
I so wish you the best. Lol!
The secret handshake is rather complicated.
Don't new mods get issued a mop first, so they can clean up the staff lounge?

It's so true. She didn't give me a bucket though...
..but Ayden, you didn't check out all the nooks and crannies to find the janitors closet? It is right next to the snipe coop.
I was scared away by the Kat hair and Cindy's fireplace pokers. ;)
Hey, I don't shed......much. Those ...things, disguised as pokers though, are definitely pretty scary. That one that looks like a 'C' on the end especially.
