I've been really tired lately. I'm doing my best to be healthy, working with my doctors, school, etc. The last thing I need is having to worry about talking to him for two hours a day. I'm not sure I completely want to break up with him, but I definitely need two weeks off from him. I miss the freedom of being single. No responsibilities. He's awesome, and accepts me. He sees me as a female, and wants to marry me... My gosh, marriage?? Life commitment.. What do I do? :(
Balancing your transition, a relationship, and everything else is not easy to do. I have been having to do the same thing except you have all the added pressures that with being younger and mixing in school instead of work. You need to follow your heart and allow that to guide you. If you need a little downtime then take the downtime you need. So he isn't hurt by it I would try explaining why this break is needed because if he is that committed to you he will understand and by the sounds of it he is. Anything your not ready for I wouldn't rush into and again always let him know your feelings in regards to that. Boundaries are healthy and important in relationships. Hugs and good luck

Just tell him you need a bit of space. If he's a cool dude he'll understand. If he goes crazy angry on you then maybe you can stop saving up for the wedding dress.
I would say slow it down a bit.
Gosh, two hours a day? That is a lot. Yes I used to do that early on in dating. We reduced that after a while.
Don't make it seem like you want to break up or anything, just say you want to slow it down a bit. Hopefully he'll understand.
I thought about it, and I think breaking up is for the best. I long for freedom. Being in this relationship feels like a burden. I'm planning on sending him this message,
Isaac, I need a break. This relationship plus the upcoming surgery feels extremely stressful. For now I have to focus on myself. Maybe later on we can give it a try again, but for now I think we should be friends. You're an amazing man. God bless you.
I'm officially single. :)
Well whatever makes you happy girl. And I must say based on women I've dated you are similar in your dating habits lol
I wish I could help. I'm currently single and haven't been in a relationship since starting my transition.
