down nine hardwood stairs. i ended up having to go to urgent care and was really concerned about being misgendered or being treated differently, but the staff was great. there's an option for your preferred name...which is huge because i live in an extremely conservative state.
long story short: i sprained my elbow/bruised the bone and i also have a cut. in a sling for a few days... everyone was really great and i'm extremely happy with the visit. :D
I saw the title and came running to dust you off and get you going again. Looks like the job's been done, though! Be careful on the stairs, if you're in a sling you'll be out of the running for my snow shoveling team.
Hugs, Devlyn

yeah, it sucks. it could've been a lot worse, but i have pretty strong bones. for others it could've been a compound fracture. i'm very fortunate
Yep, dust off and get back up, just be careful down those stairs! All you can really say is... that was fun, glad it wasn't worse, won't do it again! ;D
Glad things worked out for you at the Emergency centre and they used your preferred name.

it's a bit harder to 'dust off' today. swollen, bruised, and the abrasion is still bleeding.
Yeah, blood doesn't "dust" very well! LOL
Just becareful and take care of yourself :)
