Title: boots
Post by: Anna R on February 17, 2015, 09:45:59 PM
Help please from anyone in Australia.
Have for a couple of years been unable to find good leather female knee boots that actually are a good fit
I am a size 8 in male which is 43 european sizing but have a high top of foot and as usual , a wider foot than most girls shoes/boots.
Advice needed re suppliers please.

in heels?
they're not in fashion at the moment, flat ones are in winter.

Fashion advise with boots.
Don't wear them between Grand Final Day & Labour Day weekends
Try BigW, target even Kmart in mid March

I'm not in Australia, but I've had pretty good luck with Teva, and they ship international. Kinda pricey, but quality is great.

Hi, I'm in Oz  (Sydney) and found 10 1/2 in black knee high boots (small heel) with Sandler about a year ago - my size would be 42/43. Also found some brown flattie boots a little while later in 10 or 11 which fit well (Schubar?)

In my experience 11 is often a good fit, although some boots have a narrow calf and can be difficult to zip up. A lot of shops may not have 11s in stock, but can order in.

Good luck with your search - a good pair of black boots is a good thing!

Myer, David Jones, even some of the dfo stores.
I find bigw shoes last longer than the other stores while Myer & David Jones are great if you want something a bit better.
The issue is they're not in season just yet so finding them is going to be hard
