Title: homemade STP device that doesn't suck?
Post by: linkthetwink on February 27, 2015, 11:52:59 PM
Hey everyone, I'm Jax and this is my first post. I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on how to make an stp for my boyfriend that can be put into a packer. I already have some tubing and I'm thinking of using a "pEZ" funnel for the receptacle, but I know that they're kind of bulky and hard to pack with (trust me, I've tried) should I try the baby bottle nipple thing? Or is there some other method I could use that could work well?

The first STP I ever used was made out of a medicine spoon with the end cut off. I find it comfortable and easy to use, but I know some people struggle with it. It is however, also very cheap, so you could try it out and see if it works for around $3. Depending on the size of the packer you may have trouble fitting it in. I have an XS Mr. Limpy that's about 3", and that's just short enough to work. If you have anything longer than that, you'll have to make further modifications. Wouldn't be difficult, just more work.

There are some relatively inexpensive ($35) STP packers on the market already.

Some people were also finding small funnels at walmart that have a similar shape to a medicine spoon, they've been having luck with that, but i haven't found it at any local walmart yet.
