Has anyone used one of those at-home laser hair removal things? It seems like they'd be crazy cheap compared to getting it done professionally but I'm not sure if they work.
I've personally looked into it, the ones I've found cost about 400$, I havnt tried but my sister and mother are all considering buying one together, if we do I would be more than up for doing a review! But as far as the little hand held machines like NONO I've heard there garbage
Those "conductive" tweezer devices (where it tweezes the hair and says it "sends electricity" down into the shaft) are garbage. They've been selling them since the 90s and don't do anything at all.
The only device I know of that got FDA approved is the Tria laser. But don't waste your money, just go to a professional laser clinic. It's expensive but it works and it's permanent. Electrolysis works too of course but it's much, much, much slower than laser, so it's only good if your hair is too light/blond/white (laser doesn't work for that).
My experience on Tria was satisfactory. I have not shaved my legs or face during the last few 3 years. I just plucked a few fine long hairs I see every one or two months.
