Title: Circle lenses
Post by: ChiGirl on March 12, 2015, 10:28:09 AM
I was watching a makeup tutorial on YouTube and she swears by her circle contact lenses.  She said she can pass without makeup when she's wearing them.  They make her eyes look bigger and feminine.

Has anyone tried these or had success?  I'm curious.  I did a search of the forums and found only a couple of brief mentions of them.

Thanks!

Now I'm curious because I have been considering contacts to replace my awful glasses.

A prescription is required in the US:

Makes sense. If I'm putting stuff in my eyes I don't want something from a questionable source which is infected with bacteria or containing harsh chemicals like lead and other heavy metals. I should just quit the glasses search and go for a contacts exam instead...

I have not tried the circle lenses, but I am a huge fan of Air Optix Color contacts.  Everyday my eyes are a different color.  I cycle through sterling gray, jewel green and sapphire blue.  I don't know that they make me appear any more feminine per se, but they sure make my eyes look cool!  I get lots of compliments on my eyes.

Perhaps I will get a pair of circle lenses and give 'em a go.
