Title: How to keep hair healthy when it's up?
Post by: Blush on March 13, 2015, 12:52:22 PM
So my prized procession is my hair. I'm growing it out to about chest length, at the moment it's shoulder length. Naturally I'm blonde - a little while ago I dyed it dark brunette, but didn't really like it, so went back up to my light blonde. Now because of that it's pretty gentle. I'd like to wear it up in some kind of bun... sadly, it's not long enough to be in a lose bun, so it has to be pretty tight. The thing with this is that I'm worried that if it's too tight, it might damage my already gentle hair. Anyone have any thoughts on how to wear it up? Or should I just wait it out until it's longer?

A simple ponytail would break it less and use coated ponytail holders, not elastic bands.

That is actually a better idea than the ponytail.
