"A transgender woman in Canada has launched a social media campaign to show how 'ridiculous' bathroom bans are."
"Brae Carnes, 23, is posting photos of herself in men's toilets to protest a proposed law that would make it illegal for trans women to use female bathrooms".
"'As a trans woman I'm not even safe from discrimination at the pub or public transit. What's going to happen if I'm forced into a men's changeroom?,' she wrote on Facebook."

Trans selfies have caught bathroom bans and lawmakers with their pants down

"It is always good to watch transphobia shrivel and die. Like Count Dracula, turning to dust at the first ray of sunshine, a great deal of transphobia is only waiting the light of common sense to send it on its way."
"Or in this case, one photo, and two simple words – 'trans man' – are all that is needed to show how bills supposed to protect women will make their lives infinitely more dangerous."

This follow up article was also interesting and I was waiting for a trans man to take it on, as I think it really drives the point home more firmly....

Almost by definition, bathroom bills ignore trans men and focus on the women. Nothing new there.
Some of the comments are interesting, especially those from androgynous folks. One says that they have been chased out of both women's AND men's restrooms. I wonder where they are living. In Southern California, I have been chased out of plenty of women's restrooms but have never once been challenged in the men's room.
I am curious. Why were you in the ladies room?
I am so impressed with Brae's courage. Certainly she need not out herself to the world like this. Her point is spot on. Her message is clear. I admire her courage. THIS is bravery, my friends.

Who, me? Considering that I was legally female and hadn't transitioned, I usually used the women's restroom. But a lot of women were reading me as male, so my presence caused problems. Things got so bad that I would dither about going in, and then I'd rush into a stall and feel trapped and have a panic attack. Yes, those were fun times.
The guys never hassled me, no matter how androgynous I looked or sounded.

You have to remember Arch, society sees us mtf as perverts and petifiles and reason the mtf are in all the news we might attack there wife's and daughters due to over powering them.
It's all crap (No pun intended) all the other states who cried bathroom bill and finally passed human rights protections for GI found we are just humans who only want to use the bathroom to pee.
Sigh! Also not many understand there is a ftm surprising.
I've been following this via Facebook. My fiancee, gods bless her, has been following the trans man's side of it. I'll omit his name out of respect for him.
I went to a concert at the Hollywood bowel one night. During intermission, mother lines were so long for the women's restroom, I grabbed my girlfriends and said, let's use the men's! We all scrambled in, past their waiting line and used the empty stalls. No one said a word.
Believe it.

Hilarious typo considering the topic.

What's even better is that there is a tunnel under the street to get to one of the parking areas. Guess what I'm calling it from now on...
I expect my Mods to have decorum. That's always a total fail
I was almost boweled over when I was in Hollywood. I had a giardia infection
Sorry Cindi Jones :-*
I was in Europe recently and followed a girl into the bathroom. There was a urinal in there and having seen urinals in the street that men use with only their back to obscure them, I thought 'my isnt this very continental'. We used the cubicals, she went first as there was only one and when I came out there was a man at the urinal who nearly peed over everwhere as he jumped out of his skin when he saw me. As I walked out I saw the sign on the far door was for ladies and the one that I had been in was the mens. Oops. That will teach me for blindly follwoing another girl to the loo.
LOL, I'm an androgynous/FTM-in-the-closet teen. I get weird looks in women's restrooms. I'll get screamed at by family members if I go in the men's.
Nothing to do but hold it ::)
This took up the entire front page of today's paper:

Proud of my hometown girl!

I love how scary angry that dude looks too. I wish I had more beard capacity, I can take selfies that make me look burlier but not hairier ha ha ha! XD this is awesome
CarrotInsanity - do not hold it, you can get mad bladder infections :C
This is all pretty awesome, but the 'passing privilege' war going on in the comments makes me super uncomfortable. :/
