Title: Sudden loss of breast tissue
Post by: Steph34 on March 15, 2015, 08:11:14 AM
I have been having a problem lately. Often when I step down too hard I feel shaking in my breasts, and after a few times up and down the stairs I notice they feel somewhat smaller in size and/or less dense. They are still very small, so there is no shaking when I walk. That is not what bothers me, though; it is the loss that bothers me, as the extra weight redistributes itself to other places, making me look more masculine. This is especially problematic for me, as I sometimes walk up and down the stairs to control my weight and body shape. It would be rather ironic if that is holding back my development. I am hoping my planned increase in estradiol will help, as this problem seems to occur more when my level is lower. Holding them with my hands is rather tedious and not very effective in preventing this. I do not currently wear a bra and I do not feel like I am ready for one given how little I have and how unpleasant it is to wear anything tight. Before transitioning, I never thought I would love that part of me so much, but I do and I want to stop this frequent displacement that is holding me back. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Steph,

When I exercise I wear a sports bra under my shirt. I bounce when exercising without a sports bra. I am a firm A cup and I do not wear a bra at other times. I take off my sorts bra after exercising because it is a firm hold and I do not want to cause a restriction to growth.

I do not know how your medicine cycle would influence breast size unless progesterone is part of the cycle and not taken every day.

I fear that wearing anything there might cause a similar type of displacement, especially if it is too restrictive. After all, some people wear something tight in their abdominal area to make it shrink. I do not even have an A cup. That is part of the problem. Whenever I have any growth, it so quickly disappears. I have been on HRT for over 6 months, but my level is too low. On my current regimen, which I hope to change soon, my estradiol level has varied depending on the time of day and my inconsistent, non-cyclical dosage. I am very sensitive to those changes.

My only other thought is to do milder exercise, but that would be less beneficial and the problem is only going to come back again as I enjoy further development.
