Title: Will I be able to "pass" in the future?
Post by: SueMuksen on March 16, 2015, 08:17:05 AM
Hello everybody! My name is - or it gonna to be? - Sue!

I've started with the HRT is less than a week. Until now, I did not notice any change, even emotional... :'(

It seems like that every day, my face is getting more and more masculine... But it may be just paranoia.

I do not feel so confident, I wonder if one day I'll be able to "pass"...

Some of my pictures I took on Tuesday ...

This one i took last year, with my sister....

I think you are really feminine looking and if you grow out your hair you will be very passable!

You have age on your side, you have quite feminine features... Let the HRT do its work, it doesn't happen over night :-*

Ooh and welcome to Susan's  ;)

Don't worry Sue. Not much is going to happen in a week. Try a few months to a year.

Yes you will, you're really feminine already, hrt usually doesnt do much for facial structure, but you seem to be blessed already!

That is absolutely not true. Bone structure remains the same but skin texture and fat distribution change on HRT. I've seen subtle differences and I'm only a few months in. Genetics plays a major role too.

The virtualFFS site explains it and usually this is why FFS isn't recommended until you've been on HRT for a while.

Thanks! But unfortunately, my nose and forehead are very protruding... :x

I still dream of a feminization surgery.

Hi Sue,

I understand where you're coming from. However, give HRT sometime to work on your face.
It will not change the bones, but the subtle fat movement in your face and the loss of muscle around your facial area will do wonders.
Give it 2 years :)

I see no issue's except maybe attitude. 80% of passing is simply the mental belief in yourself fully. I went Fulltime before HRT even started and it was my belief and confidence in myself that left no one room to say anything. You will do fine physically so start tuning up the mental portion. :)

Definitely paranoia. It looks like you already pass, even without the long hair.

You're kidding right? Seriously? I think you already look like a girl. You have beautiful eyes. Most of us get that heavy manly brow. Yuch. And your face will be absolutely stunning. Have you ever tried on a wig to see what you might look like? If not, run, don't walk. Don't worry. You are so young, like malleable clay. You'll be a knockout.

Yeah but that's minimal, I meant bones anyway, and forehead and nose usually don't change much, unless you got some fat there, but it's not usually something extreme, HRT is not magic.

Sue, you will most definitely pass some day and be quite pretty as well. Just be patient and enjoy the ride.
