Does anyone have experience with breast forms?
I'm a 34 A, but I'm planning on BA this coming fall or winter. In the mean time I was interested in getting breast forms to sort of "experience" what larger breasts (C-D) are like before actually committing to implants.
Could any one recommend brands, types, materials, price ranges, how to manage with breasts under neath, certain bras that "keep them in place", anything?

At least in the UK, my best suggestion is Softleaves breast forms and the Amoena mastectomy bra range from Debbenhams. It you look them up there is bound to be similar options in other countries. :)

The only thing I'm worried about, while I don't have much growth, is "squashing" what I have with the forms... is this not so? Or do actually accommodate what's there under neath?

You can get the backs "scooped" out of the pals and made to order. They're also very soft and "give" quite a bit.
Thanks for the link Jill! I have been looking for something like this! Do you know the differences between the models? The website doesn't really explain a whole lot about the differences. Does one stay in place better than the other?

I have no idea, honestly. I just went with the ones that looked like they best went with my changing body shape and use a tighter fitting bra. I started with the flat backed ones, and now I'm up to the 2 inch scoop on the DD teardrops. I'm almost to the point where chicken cutlets will work on me. (No, not actual chicken...)
I used various gell type forms back when I was still working as a social worker. They certainly looked good and I did get my bras professionally fitted so they were the right size and everything, but in hot weather they became uncomfortable and made my nipples sore. In hot weather I used to wear those pads breast feeding mums use on my nipples and change them often which helped somewhat. These days I don't bother with them as all the clothing I wear is loose fitting and nothing would show anyway.

Try Amoena Breast forms. They are provided to women who have had mastectomies and are a bit expensive, but just like the real thing. I have never been made wearing them!

I highly recommend that you try Amoena Breast forms. I have a wonderful Corsetiere and she recommended Amoena because of their natural look and feel. The reason she recommended them was that I was already 42A and my breasts were growing. Amoena forms gave me tha natural look and feel and defintly gave me the natural bounce and feel. I am now 44B+ and heading towards 44C. I am hoping to have DD Cup size, but I expect to have to have BA Sometime.

All Amoena breast forms have the look, feel and texture of a natural breast. Close physical contact, even a hug, will not reveal that you are wearing a breastform.
I bought mine from GlamourBoutique for about $75. The were everything I wanted and I'm glad I didn't buy anything more expensive.
I use Braza Silicone Dolly Super Wedge from Amazon. Costs 19 bucks, has good reviews, and feels good.

I agree 100%. I used them pre HRT and they are very realistic looking.
I used them pre-HRT also. You really need to get them with the hollowed backs (or scoops). My forms were flat-backed and were very uncomfortable within the first year on hormones. In cooler weather, warm the forms in warm water before using them. Although in some respects a good form feels most natural against your skin, the longer you wear them, the less comfortable they will be. You can get sweaty, hot, and chafed. Plus, forms slip. To be honest, I think they are a pain in the butt. The best solution for slippage and easy positioning is a mastectomy bra. They have slip-in pockets for the forms.

I know my suggestion might be off. However, have you tried using a bra that adds 2 cup sizes? i.e. Victoria Secret BombShell. I use that sometimes when I feel like I need to take the girls to the next level. I am currently in between cap A/B.

I would love to buy bras and lingerie from Victoria Secret, but unbfortunately with broad back and only B Cup (ie 44A or 42B) they don't do my size.
However Marks & Spencer in the UK do have some lovely bras that are my size.
