Title: Brilliant day at my doctors
Post by: immortal gypsy on March 26, 2015, 03:38:55 AM
I'm epileptic, I've been having seizures since my early teens. My neuro was one of the first people I told I was trans, and after her innitial shock helped me with any speed bumps I encounterd (When I was having trouble with my psych she spoke to him. She also wrote my letter aproving my laser).

Today was the first day she got to see the real me. So today I boldly wore one of my favourite skirts, (I know I asked for opinions and you said I didn't have to but hey. I'm a women I can change my mind if I want to, and winter is coming and today was a warm day so I made the most of it). After some fun changing my records with the receptionist (I'm now listed as 'F' :D), I finaly saw my neuro. Today I think we talked more about my gender issues and how it is affecting me daily more then my epilepsy, (we have known each other for awhile and she knows my family dynamic).

So yeah it was a very fun day the only downside was she didn't want to change my medication until my hormones are more stabilised, so I'm still paying a fortune a month for all my medications including hormones. Cross sex hormones and anti-convulsants can make life interesting sometimes

That's great. And yeah, it sure was a fantastic skirt day today.
