Had my first endo appointment today I was so worried that vascular surgery I had in the past would exclude me from being able to get on HRT. Thankfully thats not too much of an issue , now I just need to get some blood work done and see them again in a couple of weeks. I have been working very hard to get to this point, over the past two years I have lost 175 pounds ( was over 380) I replaced all my male clothes about a year ago started at a size 24 and now into a 14 and still losing weight. Even though I have not started HRT I get addressed by the correct gender most of the time when I go out and I can only assume that will happen more often once I have been on HRT for awhile.
Congrats on getting to see the endo and on the weight loss. Bothe great achievements!
Congrats on what you have achieved so far. It's always nice getting past a hurdle where we feel are past medical history may preclude us from the treatment we need. Good luck and hugs

Got my blood work done today was really getting excited about finally starting HRT. Endo's office called to to schedule the follow up appointment the soonest I can see him again is near the end of June. I started to cry after I got off the phone this was while I was at work I nearly lost it all together till a friend of mine there pointed out some of the positive stuff I had going for me she really is amazingly supportive. It took 2 months to see him the first time so it may be over 6 months from when I got refereed till I start HRT unless there is a cancellation before then.
I have been living full time socially as women for over a year now and that has gone well, though I was hoping to move forward on my physical transition. I need to try stay positive and use this time to continue to lose weight and work on other goals.
Hang in there, I know that seems like forever, but it will go by quicker than you think. In the meantime focus on other things and the positive changes that have occurred in your life from the social transition you have had living full time. Hugs and good luck
