I'll not spread it out but my wife started seizing again, Her leg muscles just went into contractions, she was in agony.
Easter weekend. The ER room was a war zone of drunks.
We were in a cubicle, i had to announce I was the transgender partner of my wife. A second bed was wheeled in so I could lay next to her and try to sleep.
Absolute respect and understanding.
I had vomit over me, I was asked if I wanted a shower. I was taken to the female scrub showers. No one batted an eye lid. I was even passed some shower gel.
Sometimes I think we are losing, Indiana and Florida stand out. But for most people we are just are human. Australia is no different to anywhere else in the world. We are proud, bigoted and human beings. Real people know that.
We are moving forward.
Be proud.
And we are out of hospital.
Life is good
Sorry to here about your wife Cindy and that you were treated with the respect that you deserve
Hugs. Hope your wife recovers soon.
Cindy, it's good to hear that both of you were treated nicely and are out of hospital now.
I hope your wife gets fully well soon.
Cindy, Hugs. I hope your wife is feeling better soon.

Hugs to you girl!! It is great that they not only showed you respect but that they also showed your wife respect by letting you stay with her to give her the love and support I'm sure she needed. Hospitals are bad enough on their own so anything to allow us to help out a loved one is special. Your wife is a very lucky gal to have you.
Sending strength to both of you.
Hugs, Devlyn
Oh sweetie. I'll keep you and your wife in my thoughts. I'm glad that in your and your wife's time of need you are being treated with respect.
You're right. I'm very American and I am ashamed by the news from my country. However, I'm also born in the Deep South and I can say that people are people and we want to care for others. News articles don't capture or portray the human experience.
I hope that your wife recovers soon and that you are treated with the same respect and care as any loving spouse would be. You deserve care at this time, just as your wife does. My thoughts are with you, Sister.
Our daily life is like that. An unexpected can happen at any time, but we manage to handle it.
My wife is also very supportive of me, and fortunately she is very healthy to sustain my kids. I always appreciate it.
She is my lifetime companion.
Sometimes she complains that my skirts are too short.
Good to hear that your wife and you are out of hospital.
barbie~~
leg cramps are the worse pain I ever experienced , I use to get them a lot and they are not fun. Glad things are better and good to hear the hospital is doing right/
Hugs to you both, Cindy.
I'm glad that your wife is out of hospital and is feeling well again Cindy. The unexpected kindness of strangers is a wonderful thing and always deeply touches my heart when it happens to me.
Hugs Cindy
