I am really excited for hrt have blood tests scheduled may 15, i do have curiousitys on what people think about how hormones will go facially, i am 30 so i understand that i have to have realistic expectations of what will change. Also advice.... my best friend who i consider a sister we were hanging out last night and she told me oh no you will never be a real woman.. which hurt... i dont think she meant anything mean by it but still..........

Someone who says you'll never be a real woman is either mean or ignorant. Either way doesn't reflect well on them, right?
You are real. You are a woman. Therefore, you are a real woman. Period.
If you feel driven to educate them, you might explain how everyone is entitled to their gender, and that when you are living as a female, that is your gender. You don't take kindly to people who want to take your gender away from you.

thank you guys very much! I have known I was a woman since i was child i was just always more in the pleasing other people then making myself happy. then in unhealthy relationships.... and i have finally gotten to the point where I a woman and I want to be who I am!
