Title: When can you start exploring female sexuality?
Post by: Jean24 on April 10, 2015, 12:52:44 PM
Sorry if this is the wrong place, I'll try not to be explicit!

So I was in the closet for a long time and how I felt about myself bothered me enough to not pursue any relationships or anything sexual. I was wondering at what point you can kind of expect to start experiencing female sexuality? I know some members report being able to after being on hormones for so long or what not. When is the average though?

For me this was gradual, and something my boyfriend comments on often, he assumed that my drive would go down on hormones, after maybe 4 months of noticed I stopped self gratifying by like 95% but generally was always still up for intimacy and I explained it as being far more mental now, it just...feels good in a different way. I honestly like this better.

I don't know I'm still waiting, but I do fantasize one heck of a lot on hormones

In my experience it just happens on its own. It is not like one day I woke up and said to myself that I am not going to explore it. For me, things just organically went into place. I have had sex with another transwoman and guys before. I just kind of let myself explore that sort thing. With the transgirl it was pretty much 50/50 where both did a little of both, but with the guys it was just standard flat on my back. I kind of want to have sex with a ftm and a cisgirl too. I wonder how it will be post op though. I do think there will be a lot more to experience and learn so that will be my answer, you will start experiencing female sexuality until the day you die even without hormones. I just think the most important thing is to enjoy it most of all though.

I agree with everyone, slowly. You have to get comfortable with yourself first. Once that has happened you are much more free to express yourself honestly. HRT sure helped though!!! :)

By exploring female sexuality do you mean, ORGASAM. Yes there I said it...the O word. Its a wonderful subject to bring up if that's what you meant. I don't think its talked about enough but then again what do I know. I'm new here. I found that when I started hormones my %^&^&% shrank which I did not mind at all, in fact I liked it. What I did not like what the absence of any sexual feelings down there. I don't care about my penis much. Its there and in order to climax I have to touch it but its out of commission. I'm wondering if adding a tiny bit of testosterone to the mix it would help. I started hormones and was on them for two months and had never gone that long without cumming so I stopped. Not a good thing because now I want to try it again but no ones been able to tell me if my experience was normal or not. Can others function when on female hormones. By function I don't mean getting it up. I mean having an orgasam...cumming.
