This might help you get home in the weather tonight!

A bit wet over the coathanger I take it!
Freezing here.
Well 10C, too cold for me :P
10C? It's very slightly warmer here in Melbourne at 12C.. But still too cold for me.
It is proverbially pelting down cats and dogs and probably wombats and wallabies for added measure!
I hope Jenny isn't on her bike!
Can't say who, but someone in the the great northwest might be thinking about buying everyone there a Wimpy Burger

Thank you Sis! The Aussies will respond suitably no doubt!
Haven't seen Wimpy since the last UK trip... I remember as a kid they were everywhere ....
As for Cindy's comment, W(h)impy - Whingy... LoL We're not used to cold and buckets of rain... err, unless from Melbourne (Hot one minute, icy the next ? >:-) )
Hmmm actually remember them W(h)impy burgers being small all them years back ::)
L Katy ;D
Yes, people from the far north ice waste don't appreciate picking the right Bikini for winter wear!
It's not that bad I think it's lovely weather.
Maybe I've just gone a bit quackers from all the rain
Oops.
I think I broke summer. :o
It's lovely and sunny in Adelaide
Maybe there is a God after all?
Who is looking after its loyal servant
<sh** that lightning bolt was close!>
Well, the weather really has tailed off a bit these last few days!
I always feel a bit sorry for any tourists or backpackers who are only here for a short while and get to see soaked, rather than sunny Sydney.
Glad I got a nice pair of knee high flat boots last week, they've come in very useful.
The cat has been a bit brassed off, to put it mildly.
Ready for the evening commute...

I think you Aussie shave kidnapped our summer. It is snowing here today.
I think I saw dry land!
Nope, still raining here in innerwest land! >:(
I swear I saw a small piece of blue sky today, and I haven't been eating any of the various mushrooms that have been popping up all over the place...
Hi Girls, I really don't envy you at the moment as I bask in glorious sunshine (22C) in my house in England. I am so not!!! looking forward to coming back to the winter in late May!
Will be warmer in May and early winter than in the Sydney burbs yesterday and today :-\

Thanks hon, they're saying it was probably a Category 1 cyclone but because it wasn't tropical in nature they didn't give it a name.
Actually got some blue sky today. It was super humid this morning.

USA tourists?
It's a Sydney tradition to impale a few tourists around the Quay.
Sadly though that pic, along with a few others that cropped up, has now proven to be faked (as I suspected)
http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/sydney-storm-the-photos-that-fooled-sydney-20150423-1mrjep.html
...unlike this pic of a Sydney train station almost under water...

We joke, as Aussies do, but many people have lost everything and lives have been lost.
We joke, but we have big hearts as well.
Saw the station river running wild on one of last nights news reports, really amazing, also saw a post on FB before the torrent reached peak too...

Bloomin' heck, and now we just had this massive hail storm roll through. Fortunately the hail was pea sized but it looks like hundreds of bean bags have exploded everywhere!!
Just saw this
http://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/hail-batters-sydney-causes-the-collapse-of-two-factories/story-e6frflp0-1227320600142
Looking at the radar at the time I think where I live caught the edge of it, so areas a bit further north and west seemed to cop the brunt of it. 5cm of hail, wow!
Glad I got the washing done early.
It's mostly stopped now........but has caused a couple of small leaks in our back lounge.... :(
Just when we thought it was safe to go outside.
Came and went while visiting the pain monster.
Heavy

It rumbled around the mountains for ages, it came, it went back, it came and came in force... no hail here, but it looked worse as it headed ocean-ward.
Now there's a another lot over us :-\ Luckily we did not get hail at all today, which is just as well as my car has seen a lot over the years :'(
Radar is showing a little this evening, then we should be OK... but its gonna turn cold after this... Yes I know its already cold there Cindy...
L Katy
Yes Cindy's in either heaven or hell but never in between.
Can't keep her happy.
Oh, I'm burning up. :o
