Heyo all!
Hope everyone is doing great :) I started HRT in August and had blood tests done in February at the 6 month mark... The health system here is a bit slow so I only got my results today, yay! Issue is... Firstly, I've no idea what I'm reading, second, the endo doubled the dosage and seemed concerned by the LH and FSH numbers..... Also, I heard most people talk about 100's when refering to E... I'm no where even near half that...
So uh... How 'good' is this for 6 months on HRT and can someone please explain which one is T and what they all mean possibly? Please?
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) = 0.58 mUI/ml
Luteinizing hormone (LH) = 0.55 mUI/ml
Estradiol = 37 pg/ml
Progesterone = 0.20 ng/ml
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) = 2.976 uUI/ml
Prolactine = 31.3 ng/ml
Basal Testosterone = 68.0 ng/100ml
Free Testosterone = 47.76 pMol/l
Thanks in advaaaaaaaaaaaance :D
Its probably good to have the discussion with your Dr...
Estradiol is E :angel:
Progesterone is a hormone (steroid) that controls the menstrual cycle, it also has other characteristics that are documented in various public material
There are 2 testosterone tests, free and bound... Basal is the Bound one...
Prolactine is what creates breast milk...
That's as much as I know about it all... numbers are confusing, as is interpretations
Think on it as T = low, E = high... How you react (Endo system, Metabolism, etc...) and the dosages will determine the results... different for everyone. As I said, the best person to discuss with is your Dr...
I listen to E and T, then Cholesteral, Blood sugar, Liver, Kidney and Prostate results... rest go butterfly over my head :laugh:
