Hi everyone so I just joined. I was wondering as what I should do. Soon I am going on hrt. T-blockers not Estrogen. That will come in the coming months. My issue is this, last year I spend a lot of money on laser hair removal. And yes laser is the most painful feeling ever known. But my testosterone is quite high so those grands I spend left almost no results (had to stop in November due to lack of money). I like dressing and presenting like a woman. I know deep down I am. The amount of peace, happiness and such is hard to describe. I feel whole. However I really do not pass, and I may have to move to a new city and blend in for a bit probably as a male. I would assume that the T-blockers would help me with my GD as it will halt testosterone but I really don't wana move to make better money, to be my true self but be all bearded. I want it gone. I really need some suggestions. Thanks !!
well the permanent solution for hair removal is to get electrolysis. it zaps the follicles and stops the hairs from coming back. however, its advise you do this after you start t-blockers cuz hairs love testosterone.
Welcome to Susan's
I did laser and now I am doing electrolysis. I expect 200 to 250 hours of electrolysis. I am 30 hours in and I wish I started sooner. This is for my face.
I did not need any hair removal on my torso and my leg hair is sparse and growns slow. This is due to HRT and not having much torso hair.

Thanks lovelys! That isn't the problem as much as passing. I need a new job to make moremoney. This will involve moving to a new province tho.. And so far I am a bearded woman :(. If I have to live as a male (mainly until I get a job due my IDs stating male and such) will the Anti T help take away a lot of the sadness? Thanks!!
There are some grants for transgenders that help pay for procedures. You might want to look into some of those. I don't have a particular site to give you, but perhaps someone on the forum might. Even if it didn't pay for everything, it would get you started, maybe enough to stay where you are if that is what you want.

Indeed the e are but I'm not sure to the full extent. Both Ontario where I live and Manitoba where I may be going to cover SRS for a fact. Manitoba however, has no camh but another trans care place which is said to be very very good even if smaller then camh. I don't know about grants for laser or what not in either place however and have looked but can't seem to find anything :/...
