So I hardly ever watch TV. I mean, I got shows on Netflix, and I turn on the TV on the rare occasion somebody I adore is on a show. Well as luck would have it, my hero Bailey Jay was interviewed on Amy Schumer's TV show. There was some great stuff on the show, too, besides the interview. The skit with the jocks, and the one with Julia-Louise Dryfus and Tina Fey really stuck out.
Here's a linque to the interview: http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015/04/22/inside_amy_schumer_s_season_three_3_premiere_interview_with_bailey_jay_encourages.html
It's embedded in a Slate article complaining that they thought the interview was transphobic, so unfortunately you'll have to skim through their grievances. C'mon, Slate. This is Amy Schumer and Bailey Jay. It's gonna be silly; it's gonna be crass. That's who they are. And Gonz bless 'em for it!
Yeah, not exactly pushing the envelope at the frontier of trans issues,, but it shows her as a regular person. That's worth something. AND she's funny! Amy's sitting there all straight faced I'd have been cracking up! (...and swooning)
