:o :P Ok wow yeah it finally happened...all those years living in Texas, never sprayed or got close. Last Night was walking in the forest to get to my blankets, it was dark and windy. I nearly stepped on a skunk, it stood up and sprayed my leggings and my laptop bag. Wow, well good thing is not on my skin, bad thing, there goes my laptop bag and leggings. This is in San Francisco of course :o
Leggings you might be able to save, laptop bag, not so much. It is probably not worth the effort though.
The smell seems to go through everything. I'm glad you didn't get it directly on your skin.
I threw the leggings away, they were kinda already shredded anyways and cost $3
But maybe I can try scrubbing my bag with tomato juice and/or baking soda/peroxide as i was told. Then wash it after that. Its a swiss army laptop bag.
Soak in tomato juice would be more like it. It takes a while to work.
Because its counter acting the PH of the skunk juice right?
