Hello to all. I so get it now, let me elaborate! Prior to transitioning I had been reading multiple stories and accounts, where many of you ladies told how do you accidentally bumped your "boobs" and how painful it was. Well my first thought was, I know all these ladies couldn't possibly be that clumsy, I mean come on now how can you not miss, missing those "things" they are right in front of you. The second thought was it couldn't possibly hurt as bad as y'all made it out to be, I mean we are girly and all but not that girly. That was the "man" mind talking! Considering it no longer speaks out of turn, if ever again, please allow me to issue a formal apology to all my trans sisters out there that made those claims, I apologize I am truly sorry for my ill and UNEXPERIENCED thought if even just a thought! I so totally get it now, everything that bumps your chest and hits you in the nipples hurts like hell! And you are so right, everything in the world hits you in the chest all of a sudden. I mean it's crazy, it's like I walk in the kitchen and inanimate object's launch from remote places and make a beeline straight for my chest, Like my nipples are bull's-eyes. And yes that crap does hurt! So I get it now!😉
You might as well have two targets on your chest! ::)
You grew up, to whatever age you grew up, win a learned Kinesthetics sense of where the boundaries of your body were. They changed, but they changed slowly. Now they're changing quickly, so of course you're gonna bump into things. It was never a problem for me because my kinesthetic sense was always wonky. I bumped into stuff regularly even before HRT. ;(
Yeah, for me it was the "constantly changing" aspect that got me... get up in the morning and they stick out farther over HERE than they did last night, so I think it's fine to squeeze by that doorframe and oops, now I have half an inch less clearance than I assumed.
Once they got to be a certain size, honestly, that "they're taking up more space than I expected!" moment was the primary proof I had that they were still growing/changing.
My girls have been very dormant lately. However last night I bumped one with my elbow. It hurt like hell. They are awake again for certain.
I really don't run into things with mine to be honest. The #1 source of pain is a kid or three piling on top of me when I'm on the sofa. It's like I'm the human pillow, lol.
