I'm Key, and I'm non-binary in a very feminine body seeking to become more androgynous. I remember from a very young age, back when my parents would still bathe me, being a very confused child in the bathtub and asking if I was a boy or a girl. I'm a college student now and dream of top surgery and a lower voice pretty much every day.

Hey Key, welcome to Susan's. We have a whole forum dedicated to non binary's along with the rest of the site to enjoy. I look forward to seeing you around the site. Good luck and Hugs

Hey Key, welcome :)! Good to have you here! We have information about top surgery in the ftm section if you're interested in that topic. By all means come visit us there :)!
Welcome! As Mariah said, we do have a nonbinary subforum here.
I'm kinda-sorta in the same boat as you, being a nonbinary AFAB student. While I don't plan on medically transitioning, I am getting a binder soon, and I also plan on expanding my wardrobe to include men's clothing in addition to the women's clothing and gender-neutral clothing I own.
Have you looked into voice-deepening exercises at all? I've heard there are vocal exercises you can do to deepen your voice to an extent pre-HRT and pre-op.

I noticed, I was happy to see that.
That's cool, I've been wearing men's clothes for eight years now but only here and there and secretly. But two years ago my parents have started being okay with me looking in the men's section for stuff. They've realized guys get all the nice comic book and video game t-shirts anyway. ;)
And thanks Adrian, I'll definitely check that section of the forum out.
Hi Key, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm from Boston. Don't worry about visiting the non-binary section, this non-binary person comes to you! See you around the site!
Hugs, Devlyn

Nice to meet you Devlyn, I'm from Pittsburgh myself.
And to answer the last part of fennec-fox's post that I forgot, I might know what you're talking about if you mean the temporary relaxation of the vocal chords. If you mean something more permanent then I don't know but I'm definitely interested.
