Title: Bittersweet Day
Post by: Wild Flower on May 07, 2015, 08:45:12 AM
I been crying a bit today.... transgender misery as usual. Yet in the mirror I tried really hard to imagine what ill appear once I transition.... and I saw her. She was really pretty... and I tried to imagine with the least amount of work as well.

I went out to eat at a restaurant.... this mother was putting on a coat on her son, I wasnt paying attention to the situation but she said, "this guy wont say anything about you putting on a polka dot jacket". I guess it was hers and she didnt want her son cold.

Then her son said "thank you" and gave me a hug out of the blue. Really was shock since only women get hugs... i dont know.. still shock.

Has that happen to anyone?

I can't say that I have. Oh, I've seen glimpses of my true self in the mirror. She looks like a nice old lady. The kid? No, nothing like that. Sounds like a hug you needed, though. How wonderful!
