Title: I saw the psychiatrist today.
Post by: Maddy_Aya_W. on May 07, 2015, 06:43:43 PM
It was pretty much just intake, but my insurance covers all the cost. She's also super cool, and super nice. She even has experience with gender identity in the past. We share a few interests, as well. So far the primary diagnosis is depression and general anxiety. She seemed super eager to visit with me, and set me up for regular appointments. Still a little frazzled, but a a step in the right direction is always the right way to go. Just really giving anyone who was interested an update on the current situation, really. Thanks for the support, everyone.

That's great news Maddy, that she's helping you and you are comfortable with her, especially with her understanding of Gender issues.
