Title: SRS Colon Vaginal surgery... ?????
Post by: queenbeeradio on May 07, 2015, 07:49:28 PM
Greetings,

I plan to have my SRS in Thailand with Dr. Kamol. I'm interested in the colon transplant. Are there any girls that have had this procedure? Can you share your experience? Are there any girls that have had surgery with Dr. Kamol? or Dr. Choomchoke?

Back when I was transitioning the colon transplant form of GRS was the only thing available here in New Zealand and it was done by a surgeon in Christchurch, - Peter somebody.  It was a fairly primitive form of GRS as this was around 20 years ago and the general opinion was that it made you look like you had your bum on backwards.

Hopefully the technique has been much improved since then, but the advantage of this form of GRS was that you ended up with a self lubricating vagina.

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that it makes the vagina have an anal scent.

I would not suggest it because of the increased invasiveness of the procedure. Penile inversion still seems the way to go as far as safety, problems post op, etc. :)

Exactly. And a trip to Thailand makes sense for those with small(micro)sized penile donor tissue material (as penile inversion wouldn't work that great for them). I can't really think of any logical reason why would someone want colon technique these days.. other than for closure revision surgery.. which is much less common complication these days, as most people are actually informed they kind of really need to dilate.

I have no idea if that's true but logically that should be only for a very short time. It smells the way it does back there because of what you put through it and that won't still be happening.

"Very short time" is about a year or two, as reported most often.

It supposedly remains moist but the scent and additional invasiveness would make it unattractive.

As far as I know this is not the standard type of surgery these days and should be avoided if at all possible. Its used if the normal surgery fails (i.e. vagina closes due to lack of dilation) and needs fixing, has a much longer recovery, is more painful and has higher risks.

Dr Suporn is reputed to get good results with a micropenis due to his different technique.

Thank you everyone for your participation in this discussion. However, I already know what type of vagina I want, and that would be the colon transplant. I'm interested in hearing the experiences of those trans-sister that have had this procedure (colon transplant) performed. I would hope that this thread does not become a thread of misinformation and in fighting, but a place where I can hear from those sister that have had colon vaginaplasty!

Thanks in advance
B.

so i know of three people who had this done and they all tell me they dont have to use lube, dilation is not really done anymore and depth is good. they also told me the smell thing is not a problem as long as you keep it clean. they are all very happy. two were revision surgeries after failed penile's and one just did this colon srs

I had my surgery about 3 months ago and i was told with that colon op could cause so many problems if it is not done correctly. It could cause internal infections, and in some cases tears.. i cant speak from experiance but i would defo do your research on what ifs just to check for yourself.. good luck

I would echo that... do your due diligence and research a lot, ask people who their surgeon was, and about the results...
-some people say there might be extra stitches necessary so the canal remains stable. You might ask peoples results with surgeons.
-some people say there might be an area that needs extra care, like the passage from the vulva to the inner part made of colon... there possibly might be scars there...
-some people say they have a scar on the stomach and a little bit of a swelling there, some even said it reminds a little bit of a pregnancy...

all the points above and more might be talked through with a few people who had this kind of surgery... and how the respective surgeon handled it...

hugs

I can't comment on recent surgical techniques, but when I was in Montreal having my inversion, there was an absolutely stunning--I mean stunning beyond human comprehension--girl from France who was there with her husband. She'd had the colon surgery done by a very reputable surgeon, but was seeing Dr. Menard to see if he could help with her issues....constant need for pads due to the over-secretion of fluids from the neovag lining, and also the odor. (Side note: he was unable to help her, after several visits/exams, and she had to go back home without any kind of corrective surgery--there was nothing anyone could do)
That was a bit over 20 years ago, so maybe the techniques have changed. I personally found the inversion technique quite satisfactory and unclockable and without any complications...and over time the tissue does change to being vag cells so it does self lube and stretch. I don't think I have the kind of depth that girl had, although I'm quite satisfied with what I have--I just don't think the complications would be worth it imo.
I would be interested in hearing how the colon surgery turns out nowadays.

I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! My August date is fast approaching. I've decided on Dr. Kamol. I'm super excited!

Thank you everyone for your valuable feedback. I will keep you posted.
