I don't know what most people would say. But personally I think it's still something that's worth sitting on and feeling over time. How do you feel about your name right now? In the end it really has to come to how you feel about it..
If you're not set on it then,
Have you looked at a name database? People use it sometimes to name their babies, but since you're re-inventing yourself, you might enjoy looking at ideas. You could compare it with Marly, and see if what feels best to you.
The key is imagining people calling you by the name, and seeing what you feel. Does it feel good? Does it feel like the you that you are and want to be?
Let's see, I look in your eyes and I see... well Marly is interesting, I see the the cute/adorable it adds, because you've got that in your heart (my perception).
Just to give an example, if you're gonna explore; how do you feel about.. Lydia,.. how does that feel to you? Then go back to Marly and see how it feels. What about something that starts with V? Victoria, Violet, Vivian?
Anyway, just something you can play with. Better to go with your heart than.. the alternative.

I was meaning it to be an introduction, but I guess it kinda went another direction. Go ahead and move it if you want :)
I looked at social security for the year I was born. That produced some great names but I reminded myself I wasn't born in America.
So I came here.
I threw out one and I thought I would stick with it.
I asked my mom and immediately she put one out. I liked it and I'm sticking with it. The name she chose is age appropriate and girls from my country my age have that name.
