I have a question, just curiosity : what are blockers and how do they work ?
I easily get what E and T were, but blockers seem more mysterious to me
Check out this article on Wikipedia...
Puberty blockerhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puberty_blocker
QuotePuberty blockers, also called puberty inhibitors, puberty suppressors, or hormone suppressors, are a group of medications used to inhibit puberty. They were originally used to treat children with precocious puberty or other such early onset of puberty. Puberty blockers stunt the growth of sexual organs and production of hormones. Other effects include the suppression of facial hair, deep voices, and Adam's apples for boys and the halting of breast growth and menstruation in girls.
Oh okay, thank you ! That's pretty obvious actually ^_^'
Wish I could have had some of those when I was about 11 (when I started puberty)...
The good thing about blockers in people starting puberty is that the effects are reversible. So if the client decides later that they wish to continue in there assigned gender they are withdrawn and with a little hormonal help normal puberty will take place.
About 25% of female to male young people decide to live their lives as female, and about 10% of male to female young people decide that they wish to continue life in their assigned birth gender. Puberty blockers allow the medical team to cater for these clients.

It's a pity that a lot of people heard about that when it's too late.
If I remember well, the governement (in France) try to include gender study in class for children, but a lot of people think it's bad or wrong :'(
