If homosexuality is a sin, what else is sin? It's a fair question if I have ever asked one. Maybe skipping out of Sunday services early for a Packers game? That is a violation of the third and even the first commandments. Or how about drooling over the Hardees/Carl's Jr model in the television commercial? Or maybe the "naked cowboy" on Times Square in New York City is more to your taste. Well, those are certainly adulterous thoughts: sinful.

Alas, I feel making theological arguments that gay marriage is not sinful falls on deaf ears. Any publication that would publish such a text is not one that will be read by those who need to see it.

It is our local newspaper, I think a few who need to hear it will.  BTW, the author has a trans parent.
