Hard to say, any chest pain should be looked into ASAP.
Either a pinched nerve in the spine or a heart attack.
I'm not a doctor, but...you may want to get that checked out.
I'll give my doctor a call once the office opens. to young for heart attack so it can't be that. well she did say of anything is up, call her immediately

During a heart attack some symptoms can be: vise like pain in the chest, pain in the arms, neck, back. You can have one symptom or several.
Unfortunately a heart attack doesn't check for age. Be very careful and call very soon.
Take care, hope your feeling better soon.
I just called my mom to ask can she pick me up if my doctor can see me and she said I need to stop taking my pills. I don't get side affects from meds but it hurt though. sure I'd stop but only if the doctor said. seriously I feel like she is being unsupportive. she could of said something different but she had to go say that [emoji20]

Don't assume that because you're young it isn't a heart attack. I've heard of people dieing in their 20's due to heart attack.
I have experienced something similar, but I believe it was zocor, my cholesterol med. I felt like I couldn't breath because of an elephant on my chest. But I had pain in my lower left ribs not in my heart area. I ended up losing my dinner and started to feel better. But the pain was pretty bad. Before I lost dinner, I almost called 911. After word I didn't feel like I needed to anymore. It happened two other times, but to lesser degrees.
I mentioned this to my doctor and she said its possible I had a stomach bug, but even if it was my meds she wasn't concerned enough with 3 occurances that hadn't happened in a month to take me off the zocor when the results were working so well.
When I started HRT I felt nausious for a month as my body adjusted. So maybe I went through something similar with zocor.
I have had a lot of chest pain since hrt but I noticed that it wasn't limited to the side that the heart was on. It would switch sides and also areas in the cheats and I just attributed the pain to the hormones.
Professional Paramedic here. Get it checked out asap. Chest pain especially with any other combinations of signs should not be ignored at any age. Other symptoms could include sweating, shortness of breathe, radiating arm pain, radiating shoulder/neck pain, dizziness, syncope (passing out) and vomiting. Be seen especially if it continues like this.
thnx all. my doctor told me it was acid reflex. i just need to eat more and she gave me a list of things i should and shouldnt avoid. everything is well. i hope to feel better in the morning
And drink more water - not coffee, cola or soda... actual water!
oh and forgot to tell yea, it was the chocolate i got from my borther that caused the scid reflex.

DEATH BY CHOCOLATE!!! ;D
I'm glad you're doing good.
If anyone else needs input on experiences like you described, I can say that I have an unpleasant combination of (diagnosed) floppy valves that feel terrifying, occasionally high blood pressure (167/112 on 5/17/15), and a history of panic crap (ptsd label from 07, dissociative disorder from 04-08). I'm physically healthy but when my heart gets funny I know that my mental health diagnoses will keep me from getting help if I ever need it.
In my late teens/early twenties I was skinny and had to pile on salt and calories to stay conscious. I also took prednisone for months for skin problems.
My relatives are fat and diabetic. Many are schizophrenic. They die of heart attacks in their fifties or rush headlong into superhuman confusion and dementia in their nineties.
Really anybody at any age can have a big range of heart problems. Like what was said already it's best to err on the side of caution if there's any question.
It's possible. We often think people agree to young for strokes, heartaches, and etc, but it's always possible. Always best to be seen rather than arbitrary rule out something just because your to young. Hugs
