Hugs, Skylar. Always jarring to run into someone like that, even online.

I've had a lot of success with questioning. "What makes you so sure someone with a male body can't have a woman's brain?" Asking a series of questions starting "What makes you sure that..." can get some of them thinking. Not all of them, but sometimes.

Like Mark Twain said:  "Never argue with a fool.  Onlookers won't be able to tell the difference."

Don't lower yourself by getting pulled into those kinds of interactions.  You are better than that, and have better places to be and better ways to spend your time.

Just one of many reasons I walked away from the gaming 'community'. And stopped development of several maps for the ArmA series.. One of which was a large urban map..

It is hate speech and pretty sad that it happened but there seems to be some trolling coming from both sides. Any time you get into that sort of interaction with someone, especially online, you shouldn't be surprised by how low they'll stoop to try to out-troll you and get under your skin. I'm not sure what the context was or how much of the conversation was left out but a lot of times people who aren't immature bigots will act that way online just for the sake of trying to upset you if you give them the opportunity.

The Internet brings out the keyboard commando in everyone. People who say stuff to me on the net probably won't say it to my face.
