I have been slowly dissecting my life preparing for transition. As I am in a rural conservative religious section of Ohio and I am a Pastor as well, the shock and awe transition was not a path for me. So, I have been slowly one at a time looking at the effect transitioning will have. I got my first good news Friday as someone whom I trust sits on our Board of Directors, so I asked him what our policy is on this issue. He assured me that my job would not be in jeopardy!! Wooohooo! The next issue that I looked into was my marriage and my wife though she loves me made it clear she would not stay with me if I chose to transition. I just needed to vent. So the next up is the church this ought to be interesting.
Congrats on the good news. I hope the rest of your transition goes as smoothly. Good luck and hugs.

Congratulations I hope everything else falls in line for you as well.
I'm sorry to hear about the way your wife feels but I understand as I'm sort of in the same boat with my wife and while I love her and would love to stay with her forever I know she didn't sign on for this and at some point I know we will likely go our separate ways.
Best wishes on your transitioning kellizgirl! Glad to hear your job is safely secured and seems to be understanding, though it's sad to hear that your wife is not so understanding (for me personally seems ridiculous esp if she claims to still love you but that it her own right).. I hope you can do what it best for yourself, we only have one life and we deserve to be happy and live as we can!
good luck on the transition
Good luck! A lot of relationships do not survive transition. Ours is basically over.
Congratulations on the job.
What is often perceived in the beginning of a transition is many times not the same in the end. Go at you own speed. There is not a transition narrative, only your transition.
If I go beyond a point I will be alone too.
