Hi,
So, I am 11 months Dr. B post-op or rather almost a year post op.
I am still facing the issues:
1. Blood/discharge in the morning on my panties (especially after dilation days) - I dilate once every 2 days now
2. My urination stream is still very messy
Inter alia, these are some of issues that I am still facing.
My review of Dr. B wouldn't be exactly satisfactory and I am considering Dr. Meltzer for a revision.
But just wondering if anyone else has faced such issues / normality of them.
Thanks!
Take a mirror, squat down and check all over for places that look red, inflamed or are bleeding. You're looking for granulation tissue, which if you google it, you'll find is basically skin that heals over a wound in a strange way meaning it never fully heals. I had a small patch near my urethra for a good year, which would be fine one day and then cause bleeding the next, especially if i stressed the area by walking a lot, etc. It is very easy to get rid of, but you need to go to a doctor, gyno or obstetrics even I think because they are common after childbirth. Basically they form when wounds are in wet areas.... It's possible you have granulation inside your vaginal canal somewhere, which would account for the bleeding upon dilation. Sometimes it won't go away on its own, so get it looked at and fixed. Good luck!
It couldn't hurt to ask the surgeon, and I second the idea that the bleeding is probably granulation which is very fixable (but may need an expert with a speculum to identify).
I had swelling that lasted close to two years, so bodies and recoveries are variable. The urine stream issue is most likely the result of swelling, and may yet resolve.
First, all at your own risk... please talk this through with your doctor.

Its a ll info you might consider and talk about it with your doctor.
Some girls eat organic yoghurt for a few weeks to restore vaginal flora.
And there are estrogen creams...
and silver nitrate is often used for granulated tissue.
