Well ladies so far the electrolysis is going well. I have had two two hour sessions and one more tomorrow. I am excited that 1) I am finally getting it done and 2) more importantly I made the decision to do it. I am also getting my nails done first. I don't know what I am more excited about the electrolysis (no pain no gain) or my nails... I just know am so excited and I am giddy inside...
Angie, it is very empowering to start electrolysis and finally start that journey, congratulations.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being excited about either one of those things!
Transition is very exciting in and of itself. The less shame you have the better!
Enjoy it :) These kinds of feelings are once in a lifetime.
So happy for you Angie... use the nails as a pre-gift for the Electro :-*

Funny,
My therapist and I were talking about this the other day. I gotta just stop caring what people think of me and embrace the excitement of being me in this "unmasking" process.
No it's not wrong to be excited. Every little thing does wonders to morale.
Thank you for the words of encouragement. I try not to get to excited because there is a real world out there and it can be a rather cruel place. As we are all aware. Hopefully some of you will get this but I keep thinking about a phrase I heard in one of my favorite movies "Father, A sleeper has awakened!". Any guesses what the name of the movie is?
Getting your nails done is awesome! I went for my first manicure a couple weeks ago. Just had them put clear polish on though. :( Then about 4 days later I put sparkly polish on myself. :D Now I'm wearing lavender sparkly polish!
Yay! I'll just go ahead and glom on to everyone else saying this, but getting your nails done is like one of my favorite things in the whole world! Congratulations on starting the electro as well!

That quote comes from one of my favorite movies as well, the quote comes from Paul Atreides, from the movie Dune.
Of course it's not wrong to be excited, every little thing in your journey should be so celebrated!!
