I've read quite a few posts re: Facial Team, however they all seem to be about the Marbella surgical center. Has anyone gone to their São Paulo, Brazil surgical center?
You could have a look here:

and here for alternatives:

I'd say do your due diligence...

thank you for your pointers, only the first one looks appropriate, the other one's seem to reference Dr Rossi in Argentina and FFS in UK.

Well the second one was given as alternative... of course there are many others, but its on the same continent.
And in the other link there is a group which others said was helpful.

Well, same continent would be the same as someone asking for a list of US surgeons and suggesting surgeons from Mexico or Canada. I'm a 12 year member of ffs-support, so I'm already aware of it's existence.
Regardless the first link you posted was spot on. It was much appreciated. Unfortunately she stopped posting a short while after surgery.

Well you could continue the thread with further questions. Many people have an email notification if new posts are made.
And you might even send a pm.
Were there no hints on the ffs group ?
deeiche, FWIW, I recently asked Dr. Simon of Facial Team about having my FFS in Sao Paulo instead of Marbella, but he recommended against it as I don't speak Portuguese and communication would be a problem.

Thank you for the info. I guess they are not marketing it to North America. It seemed like an interesting alternative to the Argentina surgeons. One of the nice things about traveling north/south instead of east/west is minimizing jet lag.
dr. Simon is the only person from team in Spain who is performing surgeries in São Paulo... they do 4 or 5 surgeries per week in Spain, and very few in Brazil, this is why you can't find more info about it. Also there is one other surgeon in South America, and most ladies who can afford FFS from Brazil/Argentina go to him.

Dr. Marcelo Di Maggio and Dr Javier Rossi are both in Argentina, there is the surgeon in Peru but lately no one reports going there.
I did find another thread, Just had FFS done in Brazil (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=162269), where some one went to Facial Team in Brazil.
I was obviously implying on dr. Di Maggio... I know there are other surgeons who offer FFS, but noone else is really booked for 4-6 months in front. There is a reason why Facial team focuses on offering their services in Europe.. In South America just aren't enough patients who can afford to pay $20-$30,000 for FFS... That being said, I think it's great that dr. Simon also does FFS in Brazil.
If communication is going to be an issue then maybe best avoided.
As for jet lag there is a cure. You arrive in the destination and instead of thinking oh I've been awake 20 hours I best sleep you remain awake until your normal sleeping time in the new country and then have a nights sleep, I've travelled quite extensively in all directions and have never once suffered jet lag because after a nights sleep started around 8 or 9pm I wake up the next morning in the same sleep pattern as usual at the right time for that country :)

Sorcha ;D
I live in São Paulo and performed my surgery Testa Type 3 With Maggio, Argentina. Here in Brazil has a surgeon named Dr. Martins, who specialized with Dr. Leis in Philadelphia. In Facial Team there is no craniofacial, all my friends that operated there are disappointed and regretful; weak results do rebuilding forehead, crooked nose and rhinoplasty with few changes.
We have a FFS community on Facebook. Results With physicians around the world. It has a patient there who had trouble with Dr. Z, big hair loss and large scar on his forehead. They are invited to meet. Almost 2000 participants. "Resultados FFS". Forgive my bad English. I'm using google translator.
