Homelessness is a reality for many young transgender Americans. In Washington, a row house has been turned into a safe haven for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth who have nowhere else to go. Hari Sreenivasan talks to the group home's founder about creating a space that is safe, fun and feels like home for those who may have been kicked out by their families for being different.

My local council is currently investigating the growing problem of LGBT people being homeless in their areas of the UK.
One reason i've been doing talks with the homelessness charity I volunteer with is because they are noticing an increase in LGBT people being homeless & they want me to raise awareness & educate their support workers, the video may be from across the big pond but i'll be bringing it to their attention.
Thanks for posting it

Ruby has done a lot of great work in DC, happy to see she's getting some press for it.
