Title: Eyebrow Regrowth?
Post by: Clever on May 29, 2015, 10:44:54 AM
When I was 18, my mom plucked my dark, thick eyebrows. They haven't grown back. They look exceedingly feminine.

Will T increase the hair there, in my eyebrows, as it does everywhere else? I'm really hoping it does. Anyone have pics to share?

These darn skinny things make me so unhappy.

I never plucked my brows (nor did anyone else for that matter) but they have gotten thicker on T. Can't really say how long it took, I just suddenly noticed it. My mom actually said it looked like I had used make up to make them look like that. :D

In all honesty, I also have few stray hairs between my eyebrows and they weren't there pre-T. 8I

Eyebrows take some time to regrow.

I hope mine do. I've got that long-curly-hairs thing going, which I like, but I wish they'd fill back in on the outsides, where they've thinned over the years.

So that's good, to hear that it can take a while.

I plucked my eyebrows for several years before I came out to myself and started transitioning.  They were growing back in for about a year before I started T, and the growth is SLOW.  I've now been on T for 8 months, and they are definitely growing quicker (yay!).  I can still tell that the edges (that used to be plucked) are thinner, but my friends say they can't tell a difference anymore unless they are concentrating.  I will make a before and after pick this weekend to show the difference.
